Hey everybody... Guess everyone must have more or less finalised where they are going to study.. I have decided on UCSC for Fall 2006. :tup: (MS Computer Engineering). Is anyone else headed there?? Lets keep in touch here...

I got my UCSD reject two days ago. I had applied to the CSE department. Gre_gal, they emailed the decision to me, and later put it up on the website.

and i just got mine......guess times up now! All the best guys!

I dont know Bigredx24x....i guess its all going to remain one big mystery till we hear something from them.... but frankly i dont see a chance... I have the SAME problem with CMU ECE too.... Anyways..... Cheers!

hey pseud! i am still waiting for ECE UCSD decisions....I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that I applied just 3 days before the deadline... have you been able to get through to the Admissions office? (phone/email) Cos i havent been able to.... i guess i have no option but to wait!:sleepy:

hi... Ive applied to ECE UCSD too... but i havent heard from them... tried emailing and calling... but nothing seems to work... i guess we just have to wait... i'll keep you updated if i hear anything... Good Luck!

@Neko Sorry to hear that..why dont you write to the grad office again.. and ask them to reconsider your application? If not reconsider, at least tell you why you were not chosen.. so that you could improve on that...and apply again.. @Gforce Was that 'yuck' emoticon a mistake? :p its not so bad being told that you might get to be a part of UCSD... is it? :) Good Luck..

I called UT Austin last week... a ding:(! they dint have much to say when i was asked why i was rejected though.... ditto with O(hio)SU My online status( at both univs) have not changed... :rolleyes: neither have i recieved any email from both these univs.. (or for that matter.. any univ i've applied to! )
