  1. Hi I have had couple of Telephone Interviews but for Full time MBA. Its generally a very smooth conversation like interview for MBA. They talk abt general stuff and then gradually ask about career goals and why the particular college. I guess one thing u must know before hand is about ur college and ur department. Also be confident in answering and its very natural to ask him to repeat the question in case you did not understand it the first time. Best of luck p.s. - One final thing, in case u are getting the call on ur cell phone, remember to remove call waiting!!
  2. Hi David, I have got an Admit from 2 B-Schools for Full time MBA: Robert Smith School of Business at Univ of Maryland Olin School of Business in Wasington University in St. Louis Firstly I would like your views about which university to join of the two: Basic criteria for me is to get a job post mba. I am in Indian currently working for a leading IT firm, but with just 2 years of wrk exp. Also, I am planning to move into the field of Corporate finance post MBA. Secondly, I would like to know abt the various financing schemes that can be possible for international students like me. Ny link to student loans is also welcome. Thanks n Regards, Siddharth
  3. Thanks for all ur wishes guys, fredericchopin, I am based in India right now, hence no such preference to east coast. Well one of my main criteria is the post-mba placement scene for Indian nationals, which is very much the same in both colleges. Ny specific reason you gave the thums up to Olin?
  4. Hi All, Can anyone please provide some information for Financial Loans for a US MBA? Any link to a thread which has this discussion is also welcome! Thanks Sidd

  6. Hi Guys, me also from India and have got an admit in Olin. Well I am in touch with an indian who will complete MBA this year. Yup, the cost is very steep. Any of you tried calling up these guys for additional scolarships?
  7. Hi all, First of all, a little bit abt myself. I am an indian an gave GMAT in June 2005 and got a 700(34 verbal nad 50 quant) and big thanks to Erin for the great forum here. Its probably the best if you want to get your verbal or quant doubts cleared!! Applied to first rounds of most univs. Got bumps from Chicago and Michigan (Kind of expecting it with just 2 years work exp by June 2006!) Then gave interviews for Smith MBA at Univ of Maryland and Olin School at WasU in St. Louis and got admit to both!! Nyone who can help me decide between these two based on ny knowledge about these colleges will be very helpful. Sidd
