  1. I am trying to come up with a composition of scores that would give me the final score that I want. At the quantitative section, I know that if I get in the 80%, it would be 46, and that is what I need in this section, but in order to obtain my final wished score of 700, how much would I have to get in the verbal part? I want to know if anybody knows exactly how to make this conversions and how to find out the amount of right answers in order to achieve certain score in verbal or in quant. Thanks!
  2. yeah... it's the same test anywhere...
  3. yeah I have the same question... his post is the best!
  4. How things went? were you able to take the test again?
  5. How things went? were you able to take the test again?
  6. Hi Mirella... just take it easy and don't worry.. things will come around!
  7. Take it easy No gmat no cry... give it another shot, maybe prepare more with OG and not with Kaplan, and try to take things slowly... Good Luck!
  8. If you don't feel like you should take... DON'T... Believe it happened to me and I really regreat it, only if you have money to spear is a good idea, but if you are not sure, don't do it, confidence is really important
  9. it would be really good to simulate your test center conditions, I know that If I had, my score would be a different story so here are some ideas: Buy some really unconfortable ear plugs. Buy a thin erasable pen. try to get some kind of paper that you can erase on, legal size. try not to seat in a very confortable chaiir. don't use the full 10 minutes on each break. the best tip, is that if you can visit your test center, so maybe you can see how things are, maybe if nobody is taking the test, you can take a look at how it looks... If you can't visit (I don't know your test center rules) try by calling and asking questions like temperature (if they have air conditioning it can get really cold) amoun of people who can take the test at the same time, etc... also try to ask a friend or somebody else about the test center conditions... Best Luck!
  10. The good thing is that HEC has an intership, you should try to use it in order to get people to know you, get good references and check out if you really want to work in france or not.
  11. Congrats!!! I hope you can get accepted in the school you want.
  12. Maybe you should try to visit beatthegmat.com, it's a great forum and sometimes they offer scholarships. Also a good idea is try a public library for books...
  13. DonĀ“t worry something like that happend to me... But in my case the problem was that I was too nervous and that I received really bad news two days before the test day... Try to really think about what happend... Maybe you got too used to kaplan type of questions. Did you used OG? Anyway, I wish for you the best in the future...
  14. Have you tried to contact gmac? i have no idea if they can help you, but maybe they can... Best luck on your second attempt.
