Dear Posters, I have been working as a math teacher (university lecturer) for the past 6 years. Very interested in seeking a math related career outside of academia. I plan to go back to school to complete another degree & am looking for the degree that will allow for the most job flexibility. Which degree do you think would provide most flexibility and help land good job? -1-M.S. in Applied Statistics -2-M.S. in Financial engineering -3-M.S. in Applied mathematics Any advice would be great.

Hello, What Operations Research/Industrial Engineering departments(Ph.D. Programs) would be good to study Financial Engineering at? I have found that University of Florida and Princeton both have specialized programs but am having problems identifying other schools. Any help would be much appreciated

hi i am in my senior year of college and will be graduating next year. i am looking to apply for a masters in financial engineering in fall next year in to any of the top schools. like 1 uc berkley 2 princeton 3 carnegie mellon 4 columbia university 5 cornell 6 gatech 7 kellog 8 wharton my gre score was an above average 1430 . q 770 v 660. awa 3.5. my current cgpa is 3.84 upon 4 i might be able to get it to a 3.9 by the time i apply. i did a summer internship in a bay area financial services company for two months. apart from that i have no other previous experience. what are my odds of getting into these schools? are they too far a dream or do i have a shot at any of them?

Hi, I am admitted to the following two programs at the same time: 1. Research Master Program in Business -- Finance Track, Tilburg University, Netherlands, 2 years, received admission in April 2. Master in Financial Engineering Program, EPFL, Switherland, 2 years, received admission in May I want to go for Finance PhD after master graduation.....Could anybody please help me with my school choice?
