My GRE score is 970 ........ 300 verbal and 670 quant are there any chance of getting a descent admission in a decent university for M.S in chemcial engineering in U.S.A in spring 2011 ................ or any year ..............

I am planning to do MS CS specializing in Artificial Intelligence My UG stream was Electricals & Electronics Engg., i am planning to change my stream from EEE to CS. My Complete Profile 10th - 75% (ICSE Board) 12th - 90% (State Board) B.E (EEE) - 76.2 % (Anna University Chennai ) No history of backlogs. Topper's Aggregate - 85 % GRE 1st Attempt - 1050 (Q:730 V:320 AWA:2.5) GRE 2nd Attempt - 1290 (Q:760 V:530 AWA:Awaiting Score) TOEFL - Awaiting Score Please evaluate my chances of admissions in the universities listed below : 1. I am planning to apply to GRE centric universities. Please help me in shortlisting accordingly. Do mention over ambitious and low grade universities that I must drop it out from the list. I am planning to apply to 10 Universities from this list. Also please mention the universities that I have missed out.

Hello everyone, This is my second post in this forum. First time i posted here back in 2008 when i was distraught to have my GRE score it was 1020. So wanted to have inspiration from this forum. Anyway, today i sat for the exam again and i got Q720 and V570, i am content with that although the quantitative score is way below than my likings. But i am decided to live with that. I would like to get some help from u guys out there to help decide me choose some universities. Before i ask your help and list my sorted list of UNI that i have come across so far, i wanted to give some more info about my background. I am a student from Bangladesh. Done my B.S.C from AIUB in computer science back in 2006. My overall CGPA is 3.23 but my last 2 years GPA and mainly in major courses are above 3.5. I have worked on Cluster computing and in Distributed Computing in my final year thesis. I have published one paper based on my research work in an International Journal. I have already mentioned about my GRE score and concerning TOEFL my score in 99. My work experience is almost 4 and half years mainly in software industries and people at my work are willing to write good response about my professional career. My Sorted List: University of New Mexico University of Alabama at Birmingham University of Texas at arlington Arizona State University University of Colorado at Boulder University of Texas at San Antonio I am planning to apply for the 2011 Spring semester and inclined towards MS rather than PHD. I am also hoping to have some fund (though i know its difficult to have fund in Spring. If it is the case i want to know how hard it is). Should i wait and apply for Fall to have fund? Should i take the GRE again to have a better quantitative score (though it would be hard for me to sit for the third time)? Anyone willing to suggest anything will be appreciable. Even if you want to pass a comment. Please suggest some university for a better prospect. Thanks all for keeping patience to read this verbose post.
