rmh
Undergrad: Northeast Asian Top university GPA: 4/4.3, Major: Econ GRE:170Q/165V. Would mediocre Gre writing matter? I am considering retaking it (but then I suspect my V would go down given that I forgot almost all the vocabularies for GRE). Thanks for reading:) Good luck to all of you.
BigSize2Shots
Maybe SNU econ, I guess. Yes, you have a decent chance to get into T20 schools. GRE AWA seems to weigh lower than other factors, given that your advisor can say something about your writing skills. Other than that, field of intention, SOP, MA dissertation and etc. would affect your application result. What do you mean by saying mediocre AWA? 4.0 or so? chateauheart
I know a couple students with extremely similar profiles. They both got into top 5. Apply to all the top 15 programs and don't waste anymore time worrying about admissions.
