The themes is plural hence we need "are" A and B out. C - they encompass and occasionally deals. (They deal not deals) E- Is wordy, also its not certian if "They" Refers to poetry or to the themes, also "they encompass much of the human condition" is set off with commas indiccating that it is a non essential clause, making the sentence rubbish. D is Clear - encompassing much of the human condition while occasionally is a participal phrase that modfies correctly the subject "The themes"

Redundant. As the chairman of xyz for 18 years he did x, y and z As the former chairman of xyz for 18 years he did x, y and z Past tense did,attended implies former.

All collective nouns always singular. The crowd is attacking The army is marching The class is studying The company is dying (haha) You get my drift.

Group is singular. Remember all collective nouns are singular. Group, Army,Crowd etc etc

Answers: 4Root5+2Root2 I am not sure of this question maybe someone can make sense of it. 3)Absolute Square root 3 (range asked) Answers : >-2 -1.3>-2 These questions may not be correct, we need to make some sense of them.

Answer should be D (I think you mistyped S) Here the younger and the older people refer are specific. Younger and older is more general and represents workers. Others are not parallel.
