I did not have many ideas on this topic..I find it hard and I don't think that I am convincing enough..any comments? Personally, I consider that attending a live performance is much more interesting and enjoyable than watching the same event on television. I will present detailed reasons for my statement further. Firstly, for instance, when we attend a live concert, the quality of the sound is much better. The last concert I went to was a live one with a great band called Directia5. In the past I have listened to the same band on television. I can say now that there is no term of comparison between a live performance and a television show. The quality of the sound is perfect and our entire body vibrates and fills with joy when you hear the pure and natural sound of all the instruments. Secondly, many times a football game, or any other sportive transmission on television is commented, sometimes it happens that the transmission stops in a key moment of the game for commercials, and it can be really frustrating. I do not enjoy somebody telling me what I already see with my own eyes, and also I do not enjoy commercials. I like to experience the game on the stadium if it is possible, to sustain my favorite team and to taste the sweetness of the victory with all the other supporters. To sum up, I am for attending any performance live because the quality is higher than by attending the same event on the television which can sometimes alter or stop the transmission to introduce commercials, promos, or for any other reasons.

Firstly, it is possible that a company or firm go bankrupt and therefore people can not rely on o certain job forever. In my town there is a huge steel factory and half of the people of the town worked there before the romanian revolution. Everybody thought that would never loose his or her job there, since the factory has a strategic economic importance. However, because our country developed from a communist to a capitalist society many changes took place in the economic field and many factories went bankrupt, or needed economic reshape as it happened with my hometown’s one, and because of which many people face unemployment now. Changing jobs sometimes is necessary if we want to grow and develop professionally. It is not unusual for somebody to find himself in the situation in which he must accept a job that does not satisfies him, considering his career goals or personal preparation, only because he has a poor economic condition. Therefore, he might find in the future a more suitable job that provides him more personal and professional satisfaction. Overall, when we argue about the fact that a certain business can or can not employ a person for his entire life, we must consider all the factors that make this quest rather impossible or undesirable like the economic and social changes in a society that make the business environment unstable, or the fact that people might not want to have a permanent job because they can get bored doing the same thing day after day, or because the job they have does not meet their professional standards.

To sum up, I consider that buying tickets to a concert will be a much better choice than buying a piece of jewelry that you might not need and that in time it will no longer be fashionable. Personally, I prefer spending just what is necessary on daily basis and saving the rest of the money, for several activities that I want to do in the future and that will need strong financing. Firstly, people save money so that they could fulfill their dreams. For instance, I think about a man who always wanted to go on a trip around the world by boat. I saw it on the news that he actually saved money for ten years to make his dream happening and he made it through. Personally, I have to save money in order to make my dream of studying at an university in the United States happening, to be able to pay all the necessary fees to achieve that. Secondly, people can save money to ensure themselves a nice vacation or retirement. For example, I work hard, and once a year I have a two week period of vacation when I would like to go visit new, strange and exotic places far away from my hometown. In order to do that I need to save money throughout the entire year, but it worths the trouble. Other people are more responsible, and they are thinking about the times when they will get old and it will be difficult to sustain themselves economically, therefore they raise money to ensure a good retirement pension. To sum up, there are many reasons for which people are saving money, like fulfilling a dream of a life time, relaxing on a nice vacation, sustaining themselves at old age, or for other reasons like being prepared for anything bad, like an accident, that might happen throughout the years. Enjoying money is good when you have it, however any responsible person should keep a balance between spending money carelessly and saving money for their future.

Therefore, my parents and I moved out when the doctor explained us that it is in our best interest to do so. Personally, I consider that people make the decision of moving based on several important factors. I do not think that anybody chooses to move based on trivial factors like getting bored of one place, or something else of this kind, and leave behind their friends and families and endure the painful and time consuming process of moving only for the sake of it. To sum up, usually people move because of their poor economical condition, because of their health condition, or for example, because they must attend a friend in need. Secondly, everybody must have the opportunity to study in a high school. According to the educational system in my country, in order to attend high school classes you must pass and extremely difficult exam. In addition, because of the fact that there are few good high schools in my community with only a few vacant places per year, few students actually have the opportunity to study in a well-developed and equipped educational environment and to benefit over a good teaching guidance. Therefore, very good students with high degrees and merits will have to enroll to professional schools, which have a lower educational level than high schools. This situation will be avoided if a new high school will be built. All in all, I support building a new high school in my community, because I consider that it will improve the educational system and will help many good students get a better education than they can in the actual circumstances.

Every little thing that each and every one of us is doing at a certain moment is causing undeniable and irreversible damage to the Earth, even if we are not fully aware of it. Firstly, over the last century, because of the industrial revolution, mankind engaged several activities that pollute the Earth. The earth's atmosphere and mostly the ozone layer is highly damaged because of several ammonia compounds, fumes and other chemical compounds released in the air by factories all around the world. In addition, I consider the fact that this is not the only reason for which the ozone layer is thinner, but also that habits like smoking contribute greatly to it. Secondly, since the number of the people is constantly increasing, their necessities are increasing too, and this has some effects on the way we exploit the land. For example, through the years we have modified the beautiful landscapes of the earth by building large cities for a constantly increasing population, dams on rivers to produce energy, or we are destroying forests to enlarge farming lands with more arable terrain. To sum up, there are many ways in which people activities affect the Earth, and I consider that most of them are harmful. We should raise people conscience about the fact that every little thing they do like smoking to other bigger activities they engage in, for example, wars, can change and destroy the Earth’s ecosystem.

Can anyone rate it please?:) It is true newspapers, television and media in general, pay too much attention to the personal lives of the famous people, and this brings negative influence on the way average people think or disturb the celebrities by intruding in their lives. Many magazine and newspapers managers consider that they should print and publish what it sells well. According to several polls, many people enjoy the articles found in the scandal magazine even if those are not true. Unfortunately, by imagining and publishing this kind of articles, that do not have any connection with the real life of the pop star, famous actor or any other celebrity, these managers mislead people and make them believe things that are not true, which in my opinion is a wrong way to use a powerful tool like media. Secondly, the famous people lives can be influenced negatively about printed articles in magazines or news that a TV shows can release about them, only for increasing the audience. For example, I know that a popular actress lost her unborn baby because of the untrue news she heard about her mother on a television program. Unfortunately, there is another category of media people called the paparazzi, who sometimes exasperate the celebrities because of their constant personal life intrusions. A terrible example, is the death of Princess Diana of the Great Britain, who died trying to escape from the paparazzi. To sum up, the constant attention of media on famous people lives does not have a good influence on the average people because it makes them dream about impossible things and misinform them, or to the celebrities in general, because of the frustrations they experience due to the intrusion effects and consequences. Therefore, media should consider not to interfere in people lives famous or not, or to place too much interest on the lives of public figures or celebrities, and to concentrate on other relevant events and activities that happen in the real world.

I know that the meaning is related to the word of beach...or littoral.. The french riviera...help me discover the correct spelling...my dictionary is no good. I think you are right about the conclusion. The fact is that I am doing this essays in 30 minutes and I thought I should try writing a third paragraph to see if I can manage it. But it seems that I neglected both the third paragraph and the conclusion because of it. I thought about that example with the courses too, but then I considered that in some other countries students are not forced to take some classes, they choose their own and I have dropped the idea. As a suggestion, I think that "live near (to) a shopping center" is more native than "live nearby a shopping center". How do you think about "nearby" and "near"? cloth and clothes are slightly different in meaning They sound both ok to me...near to it and nearby..I do not know which is more native..honestly... what did you mean by different in meaning..clothes is the plural of cloth...you've meant something else?

I am impressed with words like aforesaid, aftermath, threshold...I think you should try to organize better your ideas. You have good ideas but when I read the essay it gaved me the impression that it was hard for you to put them on paper. Your grammar is good. Just my 2 cents. I think you are good.

I can not believe that I have done a mistake like that with the children "have"...and the article ... the second one with the "Health problems" it is correct my way ...when are two nouns one after other and one plays the adjectif part it should not change its shape..I don't know if I explain it right but at least I am trying..:) The last mistake I think it can be "may" as well as "has to" too. Am I off topic? It is true, people are sometimes forced to do things they do not enjoy. But they are doing this because of the circumstances in which they found themselves at certain moments in their lives. Firstly, people do not always enjoy their work. For example, in my country the unemployment rate is high and therefore, many people find themselves in the situation in which they have to accept a certain job for which they can be overqualified to do, or may not like it, only because there is no other job waiting for them, and they have to support their families. Secondly, I think that everyone of us has confronted a situation in which he had to tell a lie or at least twist the truth a little bit. For instance, my mother has a heart disease and we must protect her, from any kind of emotional shock, otherwise she might have a stroke and die. When my sister had a car accident we had to avoid telling this to my mother because of her poor health condition. This is an example of a situation in which I had to do something that it was not right but necessary. Thirdly, I consider that real life often forces us to make compromises and in consequence, this means that from time to time we accept doing things that we do not enjoy very much. As an example, me and my husband often compromise about where should we go on vacation, because I enjoy a quiet relaxing one in the mountains, while he likes to go to the noisy and overcrowded riviera, to party. To sum up, we often find ourselves doing things that we do not enjoy very much, for the sake of our dear ones, or because of the poor economic situation in which we are, or many other reasons. The point is that sometimes, in the real life, we must compromise.
