  1. I took the test on February 25th. I received the score yesterday. I passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![clap]
  2. I am also doing my internship in Florida. I have done 1300 hours and I haven't sent the assignments yet. I didn't read that we must sent them after doing 500 hours. Do you think there will be any problem if I send them now?
  3. Where are you living? I am in Florida and planning to take the Naplex in December.
  4. Hi, It's funny you said you graduated a long time ago. I am a pharmacist from Venezuela and I graduated in 1975:grad:. I took the FPGEE examination in 2006 and I am doing my internship . So, don't give up. You have to study some subjects from the begining. I used the CPR (Shargell) and a lot of notes from the internet. GOOD LUCK.
  5. I don't get it. As I understand , you must complete the 2080 of internship in Florida before sittingin NAPLEX and Law exams. Is this true? I just got the Florida Intern license for foreign pharmacist and I am waiting the FPGEE certificate.........
  6. Thank you for your information fftb, I will fax an inquiry tomorrow.
  7. It is necessary to apply for FPGEC Certificate? I thought they will send you automatically when they receive the TOEFL iBT score.........
  8. garet: You are lucky. I have taken TOEFL severral times and my speaking score was 24. As I am a foreign pharmacist, I need a 26 score..........
  9. Dublin: Are the Board of pharmacy rules on MI different from other states? How did you get your intern license before passing the TOEFL iBT?
  10. I asked the Florida Board of Pharmacy about the requirements for getting an internship license and they told me I need the original score letter of FPGEE approved and the TOEFLiBT approved score (26 in speaking!)
  11. I am a pharmacy struggling with the 26 score of TOEFL iBT, but I think it is unreasonable to claim as unfair the English requirement. We are in USA and even though English is not the official language, it is the language spoken by most of the population. I think we need to focus on the way the score the speaking section. It is unfair and it doesn't measure your ability on spoken English.
  12. I am sorry, I meant : they give you time for reading the passage , after you have read the passage the clock starts runniig for your responses.
  13. That is not true. Time starts to run when you begin reading the passage.
  14. There is an useful web site for the speaking section : http://www.ello.org
  15. Selena: I have taken the test in my country and there is no difference . All the responses are recorder; raters don´t know the student´s nacionality or where they took the test.
  16. Vilma : What do you mean by "always use indirect speech and passive voice"?. In the independent questios I have to answer in present tense: I like, I prefer, I think......Could you explain it better?
  17. I agree with you. I took the test on march and my scores were : 27,27,22,27 and I have to retake all the test again. I think it is not fair.
  18. Nobody gives an opinion about this suggestion?
  19. I think a suggestion to NABP could be to let foreign pharmacists beging their intership with an appropriate level of english language. Anyway , during the intership, we all are like pharmacist students. We are not graduated pharmacist in USA until we finish the hours of intership and take the other exams. ¿Why do we need the highest score in TOEFL iBT?
  20. Actually, I have no complains about the test center enviroment. I have taken the test in two different centers in Caracas, Venezuela and they are really good. In my case I think the scores ETS give to test takers are unfair, specially in the speaking section. Scores are too low . Every time I take the test I think I did it well but it has been imposible for me to reach the NABP requirements. May be they think it is my opinion and they don´t care.
  21. Selena: Actually, I really don´t know how long I will be trying. It is very frustrating, but I am going to do it again. Of course I have to make changes in my future plans and in the mean time may be something good happens with NABP requirements. They have to reconsider the situation of lots of foreign pharmacists like us.
