  1. I am looking to sell. I live in Canada.
  2. Hi All, I am looking to get rid of all my GMAT books. Let me know if you are interested. 4GMAT set - consists of: Advanced Math Lesson Book 1 Advanced Math Lesson Book 2 Book of Formulae Advanced Math lesson Book Data Sufficiency Advanced Math Lesson book Work Book Manhattan GMAT set (7 books) 2007 Geometry 2007 Number Properties 2007 Equations, Inequalities and VICS 2007 Fractions, Decimals, and Percets 2007 Word Translations 2006 Sentence Correction 2006 Critical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension PowerScore's GMAT Critical Reasoning Bible Veritas' Project GMAT (statistics, permutations and combinations, and probability)
  3. agree with A all others change meaning.
  4. IMO E i don't like "he"r at the end.. but i guess it is clear it is stacy b/c of the possessive form of the other author. like E b/c need "was"
  5. IMO A (B) and © are out b/c of the unclear usage of "tree life". What is tree life?? should be "life in the trees" btw A, D, E More X than Y contruction D meaning is off - seems to imply that gibbons adapt more to life in the trees than adapting anthropoids E - complete adaptation - doesn't make any sense... changes the intended meaning
  6. IMO E Need "to assure...and to prevent" therefore only D and E closing- changes the intended meaning of the sentence, from assuring doors are closed, to the action of closing the doors
  7. "greater" and "less" is used to compare TWO things only. Total Sales and $300000
  8. agree w/ A every other choice changes the meaning
  9. D is correct, this is a OG question if i remember correctly, we need a contrast word, so that rules out everything except A, D, and E try replacing "but" with "yet" and "although" with "regardless of the fact" and see if it makes any more sense.
  10. IMO (E) (A) out b/c indication to (B)wordiness © construction isn't parrallel and awkward (D) both needs to be after has been - or else meaning change
  11. agree with (D) like - used to compare nouns as- used to compare phrases/actions. need as in this sentence. between C,D,E only (D) correctly compares the actions b/c of "do"
  12. need present perfect ©
  13. Lego IMO "the cheif" isn't used to refer to a group in this question. "the cheif" = "the main".....the main reason for rejection.. I think this question has more to do w/ the usage of "among" which is used to relate 3 or more things. Among X,Y, and Z Among the all the baseballs I think "among" would be appropriate if the sentence was "...Among the reasons, the cheif reason was... " The way the sentence is structured, it is only stating the "main" reason for rejection, and it isn't trying to relate that reason to 3 or more other reasons. That is why I ruled out (B). (A) was ruled out b/c there is only 1 reason. "the cost of borrowing the money" is only 1 reason, so "were" is used incorrectly. (D) (E) are out for reasons i stated before. hope that helps.
  14. IMO A comparing numbers better to use greater or less than... and subscribers is countable, therfore need fewer
