  1. A for me too for same reasons. "admits" is required and "only" is placed correctly in A
  2. Would go with A - If we negate A, it weakens the argument.
  3. 1 more vote for E... agree with grems explanation.
  4. What is "which" refering to in case of B ????
  5. Run-on sentences are formed when 2 independent clauses are joined together. 2 Independent clauses can be joined by semi-colon, while here comma is used, and is wrong. coming to your question "and so too are modems" here "and" actually playing it's part. "and" is a conjunction and is joining the 2 clauses and that is grammatically correct.
  6. awesome man.....you ROCK!!!! really appreciate your persistence and endurance to kill this beast..... I have pretty much same background as yours except four GMAT attempts, it's just one :D this a really motivating story to me All the best with your appz
  7. wow...that's a good score and with your profile I am sure you can get in top10 schools...If I were you I would have kept INSEAD in my list. so what place you took your exam ?
  8. I need to know same thing...is it worth buying both of them ?
  9. "ing" is used to show continous action or in other words something that is happening presently. According to "A", the cannon has been continously shooting the chickens :), it is not correct
  10. I am lost in this one....If I look at the meaning it makes perfect sense to use "its collections" but if I go by grammar rules, I am not able to understand. the pronoun refers to the last noun, in this case the last noun before pronoun is "collectors". why should we use "its" here ?
  11. I am inclined to A as well....not sure if it's trap
  12. I got stuck between D & E..... how to eliminate E ???
  13. D should be the answer. author is talking about advantage of 1 over other.
