  1. It should be 9 , 441 = 21*21=3^2*7^2 (2+1)*(2+1) = 9 I would like to add one point , whenever we have to find the factors of a given number first break the number in to product of distinct prime numbers and then just add 1 to the respective powers of prime no's and multiply. It will give the number of possible factors. Rgds, Kapil
  2. Good Catch -- don't always assume integers unless specified
  3. Yes it should be 'D' 1. since A is faster than B and A and B together takes half time that of C's => B is slower than C. 2. Its straight forward that C is faster than B
  4. Yes it will be B ... N has to be 6 as its greater than 5 and less than 7 ...
  5. Try to match the coefficients of 7,5 and 11 , start with 11 you will get ans A.
  6. Hi ... Gud Explanation :-) ... 1 typo error ... it will be 90% ... keep posting
  7. Hi, Since the question says between 4000 and 7000 we have to exclude these numbers more over since both 4000 and 7000 doesn't satisfy the condition of even numbers with all different digit they are not going to affect the correct answer. The approach of fixing the first digit and last digit and checking how many digits can be used for 10'th and hundredths place is logical. Regards, Kapil
  8. Nice Explanation :notworthy
  9. Only 1 satisfies , for 3 SD deviation will be same if all the terms are -ve or +ve as mentioned by kundan. Nice explanation kundan.
  10. Hi I agree with Jakir explanation , since the lines are perpendicular product of there slopes has to be -1. Slope of line L = -1/(p-2) => Slope of line m should be (p-2) Equation in line has slope (p-2). Rgds, Kapil
  11. It should be "D" If we can cultivate the tree it will never extinct.
  12. "B" - if the school has funds for non essential expenditures means it also has funds for essential expenditures there by it can still make more cuts in non essential expenditures.
  13. 1. A --- Assumption of total population of lobsters to be constant is made.
