  1. Thanks. Appreciate your comments. I should have been more specific. Yes, I have done some research and I have shortlisted below as they have good program in consulting. I am looking for top15 schools. Given my age and experience, I am not keen in going to further lower ranked schools. The reason for not going below Top15 is curriculum(professors and focus on consulting), alumni network, brand and ROI. I have below list based on above criteria. List is bit long but this is first cut and will drop some from this. USA Hass Berkely Ross Michigen Darden Tuck MIT Yale Chicago Europe Insead LBS Cambridge Oxford Pls suggest.
  2. Hi GMATbong , Can you pls suggest on way forward for me. Details about me - GMAT - 680(Q49,V33) AWA 5.5( third attempt) Work exp - abt 9 year Age-31 yrs and Indian national Background I am a mechanical engineer and post graduate in industrial engineering. I have 8.5 years experience in IT and of that 6 years is international(US and Europe). Currently working as program manager handling an account with revenue run rate of USD 4.0million. Managing a team of about 30 people. I have good acad. 84% in Bachelor of Engineering and 80% in post graduation. I was topper in bachelor so i guess this will help to a extent. I have recieved merit scholarship throught the education (schooling, bachelors and master degree). I have good acad and there has been steady growth in responsibilites at job. Moving from software engineer to program manager in period of about 9 years. Have worked for 5 years in Europe(multiple countries-Germany,Sweden,Denmark,UK and Belgium) and 1.5 years in US. So I have good cross-cultural experience. I learnt german when working in Germany. I don't have lot of community involvement except few trips to educate villagers and few more small involvements. However, I am closely attached to graduation college and have helped in enhacning college placement and also participated in improving the curriculum. That involvement is continous. I do have lot of personal challeges to write about because of being first in family on most of the educational achievement and financial challeges. Also can write about few interesting cultural challenges based on my extensive travel. Reason for MBA So far I have been focussed on IT consultancy and will like to move into management consulting and I think a MBA from top school will be great help to make the switch. Pls suggest some good schooling for career in consulting which I can make with above. I think work exp and international exposure should work as a plus and can put me in different perspective compared to others. I will appreciate if you can suggest some doable and some stetches. Thanks

  4. A can not be true. Because only 25% say that they work less than one hour whereas on average means abt 50%....
  5. IMO A becasue Ms. Siuzdak does not agree with Mr. Janeck and gives her support for the disagreement. In her explanation she says that running a business coporsation is a valuable experience for running task of the government. That is a kind of qualification and she can only give explanation if she believe that Mr.Janek is doubting qualification of governor.
  6. Saira, What is your source to say that " likeliness / probabillity " can never be compared ..hence we don't use "than " with them ??
  7. Bob, I agree with your answer but I am not clear on usage of "is". MGMAT SC book says that if a construction starts with "One of" then verb needs to agree with nonun/pronun following "of". If we agree on that then verb "are" is needed here. Pls clarify.
  8. Mbagrad, I don't think possesive is limited to human being only. For example, Company has changed it policies becasue its policies were not favourable to employees. Here Its refer to company's.
