  11. I believe the mistake is in the new equation - x/2+10/x=6 . Looks like you substituted x with x/2 or you can say you divided x by 2 By doing this real effect on the equation given in question stem x + (5/x) = 6 is 1)Multiplied the first element with ½ 2)Multiplied the second element with 2 3)No changes to third element ( other side of equal sign ) In short the whole equation got changed from the parent equation.
