St1 m=3 implies its a 3 digit number which has to be formed from 5 numbers thus the units digit can be formed in 5 ways , the tens digit can be formed in 4 ways after the units digit is formed and the hundreds digit in 3 ways.St 1 is sufficient to determine how many ways the number can be formed Statement 2 We are not getting any definitive value.
