Hi, I am a foreign pharmacy grad. I live in CA. I did my 1500 intern hours in community pharmacy setting. In 2014 I got my eligibility to take naplex, but I could not pass the naplex. Then due to family issues i was not able to take the exam untill now. However, when I applied for Pharamcy license exam, I got a deficiency letter asking for documents for my institutional hours. Since my intern license has been expired, I can not practice in any settings. Besides, I am confused why I got eligible in 2014 and now I can not. I would appreciate if you give me your advice. Hi, I live in california and I had gotten my intern pharmacist licence on March 2013. Due to my complicated pregnancy and having a newborn at home I was not able to take the naplex and yesterday I realized that my license has been expired a month ago. I visited board of pharmacy's website to find out my options for renewal ,however, none of them did not applied to my situation. Now I am really desperate to find a way to renew my license otherwise, I am going lose my career. I would really really appreciate if you show me a solution( if there is any) to be able to renew my license. thanks

Hi, I have completed my 1500 hours internship in a community pharmacy (Walgreens). I was under impression that I am done with my internship and ready to take the NAPLEX however based on CA board pharmacy's "Pharmacy Intern Hours Affidavit" form I realized that I need to spend some time in an "Institutional Pharmacy Settings". Can some one please let me know whether a compounding pharmacy is a right place for the purpose or it should only be an inpatient hospital? how long do I have to be in an "institutional pharmacy" to fulfill CA sates requirement? any other info in this regard will be highly appreciated Thank you

Hi, I am planning to take Naplex exam within the next 2 months. I have already completed my intern hours (over 1500 hours) in a retail pharmacy (community pharmacy). However, based on the "Pharmacy Intern Hours Affidavit" form in California board of pharmacy website, it seems to me that I also have to spend some hours in an "institutional pharmacy settings". Dose anyone know whether working in a compounding pharmacy will serve the need? or I only have to look for a position in an inpatient hospital's pharmacy? any idea on how long do I need to be in an "institutional pharmacy settings" to fulfill the CA board of pharmacy's requirement? hi chuchu, I just started preparing for naplex and I am desperately looking for someone to advice me with regard to Passnaplex courses. I know it is been almost 5 months since you posted your request and most probably you have passed your test by now, however, it would be a great help for me to let me know if you were happy with PNN online courses. right now I am debating between online and live courses and I am leaning toward online course, but I do not know what I am going lose if I do not attend on live course. thanks for your reply. I think I did not ask my question clearly. Right now I live in California and it is been almost 3 years that I passed my Fpgee, however, I could not pass toefl. right now I am thinking if I could find a state that FIRST I do my internship and then take my Toefl. In the state I live, California, I can't do internship before passing Toefl. But I have heard there some states that they allow us to do internship before taking toefl. My second question is if one day I pass Naplex, is it valid in all states especially in California?!

Hi, I just wandering how important cpr's tables? there are lots of tables in cpr's chapters and in some of these tables, there are lots of drug names which are hard to memorize. I would appreciate if someone tells me, which tables or what kind of tables are so important for the exam? and does it worth to spend time on them? thanks

Hi, I have a question regarding manan shroff managnent book. one of my friend recommneded me to buy "reference guide for pharamcy managment and pharmacoeconomic" for managment part. I found this book from Pharmacyexam site. However the titile of the book is slightly diffrent. The title is "Reference Guide For Foreign Pharmacy Licensing Exam Pharmacy Management & Pharmacoeconomics". Do you think these books are same and is it good to buy this book? Thanks.

Hi, Can someone tell me which parts of cpr are more imprtant(or less important)? Based on my understanding from this forum, I konw that I should study whole parts of cpr. However, I am afraid not to finish all of cpr chapters until Jun, so I would appritiate if you tell me which chapters are more important? In that way, first I can concentrate more on these important chapters and then I'll continue to finsh the rest of the book. Thanks.
