Is correct sentence because 'bringing' is modifying the whole preceding clause.In this sentence He is not bringing the count down to thirty. This whole preceding act (He ate ten pizzas) is. (B)They were inside the building, having the magical powers. Here reference for having is ambiguous. The sentence needs to be re-written to convey the correct meaning. The sentence (A) has no ambiguity, but sentence (B) has. Besides, please go through this post. Some good expln given by 800bob for "ing"/"ed" phrases.

What is the source ? genius_in_the_gene, You cannot conclude c>d unless you know the sign K and L Shobby, greater x intercept => greater y intercept -- is INCORRECT. Imagine two parallel lines cutting Quad I II and III. In that case, the line with greater x-intercept will have smaller y-intercept. Point to be noted is that x-intercept is sign sensitive !

  15. It has to be A, absolutely. I disagree with the OA if it says B. .
  16. B makes sense if the Q stem would have asked "What can we logically infer from the above stimulus?" But the Q is "conclusion follows logically if which one of the following is assumed?" If we assume option A which states that X ONLY IF Y. X: "People can feel secure " ONLY IF Y: "know for certain whether their actions are legal." If Y is the necessary and sufficient condition. If NOT Y --> NOT X. Where am I wrong
  17. IMO A. If A is assumed "People can feel secure only if they know for certain whether their actions are legal.", then we know for sure the "people cannot feel secure". If we assume B, there is still an element of 'might', people might feel secure or they might not. But we need to conclude that they cannot feel secure. What do you say Shooter?

  19. OA is A, indeed. I think I misunderstood because of the language used in option C. .. "contemporary appeal of" Option C means exactly opposite of what passage is conveying. Isn't it?
