  1. To begin with I would share my experience. I studied for FPGEE solely from CPR and looked into manon shroff management book. I also solved 1000 questions from manon shroff. I studied for FPGEE on and off for about 6 months but pharmacology was almost impossible learning task for me. Till the day I took the exam I was forgetting and mixing up all drugs. I did study, atleast read through, almost all the chapters of CPR including the specific diseases. On the day of my exam the first part seemed easy to me but the 2nd part I had no clue what I answered. I forgot almost all pharmacology. 2nd part was mostly very very to the point pharmacology and pharmacy management. The Manon's book didn't help much. I answered most of the question whatever I felt would be most appropriate to the point sometimes I was clicking the answers with my eyes closed (I m not lying)... I regularly followed this forum and the kind of preparation people did for this exam I stood no where. With all my experience I can advice those who dont have much time to study read CPR very very thoughly..dont miss tables (which I did) they are important too....do read specific use of drugs within a particular category. I dont have much to advice as I myself did very limited studies, however I hope others who were more serious about this exam will definitely advice better. I scored 96..not bad..after all i wanted to just pass the exam...
  2. Hi Guys, Now that we have passed the April FPGEE lets share our results experience and advices. I know there are other threads already existing where we shared our experience but that time we did not know the results. Now that we know our results we would be able to advice better for all future FPGEE takers. This forum helped us a lot..lets continue the trend and help future test takers....
  3. I passed too. I will write my experience later.Got a score of 96 not bad provided i did so badly in my exams, clicking answers whichever i felt is right.... :)
  4. Can anyone tell me when will we be able to get our results , any chance of getting it earlier than 8 weeks?
  5. Hi All, I been following this forum from last one year but never posted. I took April 2011 FPGEE. I am sharing my own experience so that I can contribute to this forum that has helped me understanding the exam and guided me the study material. Before you read my whole blog I must tell you I am not the one who did an extensive FPGEE preparation. With PhD commitment I used to get hardly time to study FPGEE. I been preparing for FPGEE from last 1 year on and off. First of all it took me a while to get all documentation done as FPGEE is very strict about the documents required. BY the time I got the documents cleared I had September and April as my choice and i took the april exam. I studied for this exam seriously for last 2 months 2 hours or so. I studied only CPR and 1000 Manon QandA. Overall I will rate my preparation average. I had a hard time memorizing stuff(which I felt is key to this exam). The first part of the exam was easy and I was very happy as I was sure out of 125 Questions my 90 answers were correct.Rest I am not sure but they wont be 100% wrong too. I was very sure of my success But the 2nd part of the exam was very very tough. I completely forgot the pharmacology. The questions were way too specific and no guessing would work. You must know the exact specific use of the drug as the choices were pretty close. However I do admit I did many silly mistakes and took the wrong choice although I did read those topic during my preparation. I do agree with all the other bloggers and not repeating about what one needs to prepare as I myself did very limited studies. However I am relaxed about one thing after reading all the blogs that I am not alone who did badly in the exam. CPR is not complete reading material I must say. there was too much of management. I did read Manon management but seems even that was not sufficient. I have one suggestion is someone is following only CPR he has to learn it by heart each and every chapter. With my experience with this exam I felt even the later chapters of CPR, specific diseases is very important. I did read through those chapters even though people adviced me that they are not important and I do think that it did help me. I am not sure why people say FPGEE is a scale based exam where the following question depends on whether you have answered the previous question correctly, as we can always go back and change the answers for the previous question. I am relaxed knowing that the final score will be based on the overall performance of all the test takers. That my only hope to pas the exam. Good Luck to all of us and all the future test takers. READ CPR COMPLETELY, THOROUGHLY is one of the key to pass the exam
  6. Hello everyone I am in process of registering for FPGEE , I want to appear for APRIL2010 FPgee, but I am facing a big problem in my documentation. I have sent all the required documents accept the Official proof of degree. I have sent ECL attested copy of my DEGREE certificate but they have not accepted it and when I requested my issuing Body (the University in India from where I passed B. PharmJadavpur University) to issue a letter or attested degree in a sealed envelop they denied to do that. When I told FPGEC about this they said I might be ineligible for qualification for FPGEE exam. Please can any one help me and let me know what can I do under such circumstances.
