This amount is an average salary for those people who havent got a good Gpa at USC. For people with good enough Gpa the average salary starts at $60 - $65k and can well stretch upto $85-$90k. @Dhruv, Did you get my two messages? @Dhirak $100k rocks man.:D Can you please give some more details about your friend? Hi diablo, I second with GForce, 60K to 65K wont be much of a problem ( Provided that your acads are good). I have even heard of "MS" peoplle getting 80K per annum.

Hello Tmian's, I have got admission into Gerogia Tech for MS in CS. :eek::eek::eek: I still cant believe it!!!! I have checked the e-mail over 10 times, i even checked my name 10 times.(everything is correct) . . . . I still dont believe it!!! CHeers!!!

Let me put it this way: If you want a great Job , great research facilities as well as great weather, then go to USC. If you want anything else then go to PSU. But, in the end the decision is yours. We are here just to express our views.

Thats right, I had gone to the US Consulate Today. The latest available date for the VISA appointment was 11th APRIL. So the lag time is merely 4 days. No need to worry. Just get your documents ready and get your appointment. I have one query though: I want to book a date somewhere near 15th May, so i asked the guard over there. He said it was not possible to book dates so early. Is he right, i couldnt ask anybody else as at PUNE we are allowed only to talk to the guard at the Visa consulate.
