Rumors and reports say that there are some schools that are cancelling 1st year coms/qual/prelim. I've heard of NYU, Brown, UCSD and MSU, but I'm not an insider of those schools. Today, even AEA asked the departments to consider providing students with accomodations: American Economic Association.

Can anyone tell, the odd of acceptance if I'm wait-listed in both UNC and UVa? As I got 2 wait-list e-mails, I felt a bit easy, only until I saw posts here saying that wait-lists of UNC and UVa are really long. Do you really expect that about 60 students would be on each list?

I'm also an international, who got a mail from UIUC today. No clue for the second round, but as visiting day is April 1st, I think there are a number of chance that they send out additional notification before then.
