My advice would be to increase your score to 700 or 700+. That will put you in good spot to aim for top US b school and with 700+ score if you will apply to 20 - 30 ranked school, you might get scholarship as well. UNC Kenan-Flagler Indiana Kelly are also some of great school, whose admission rate for international students are worth considering. Rottman is great school and canada is more visa friendly as compared to US these days.

I agree with tictaktoe that 2'nd time will gonna much better ...my advice is apart from all the practise u will do , dont forget to do all the sets under timed condition and in the schedule in which u want to write your actual GMAT. I am sure you will achieve your set target. Good Luck ........and remember "Its not over until you win".

First of All, take a break , have fun ....and then back to studies,For SC - Manhattan SC, OG, redo OG,learn the concept CR - 1000 CR within time frame RC - OG RC within time frame. in quant analyze ur weak areas and practise them by searching their questions on test magic . Prepare log of all the questions you do wrong , revise them , revisit them every second day , Prepare sticky and write them on the walls of your study room. and then Practise all the 30 Sets , within time frame and under exact test conditions. In between give gmat prep to gauge ur performance, redo every week gmat prep by re installing Have faith in God and faith in yourself ......... Good Luck.

Hello TM's and GMAT Bong Can you please tell me which all top 8 colleges are there for strategy consulting and as an Indian I.T male with only 710 (49 Q,38 V) and 6 Yrs of I.T consulting work exp , do i stand a fair chance at these colleges. which all are the best source of info for finding the desired colleges . ashb, dont loose hope and dont panic . Yeah GMAT is just a criteria but it do heavily count .What i can make out from your debrief is that you not so good in time management and stamina. My advice will be to give another shot at gmat.Redo OG 11 + OG Maths + OG verbal and then take scoretop membership to solve all the 25 gmat sets with AWA. If you dont want to give gmat again than you will not get any good b school .Nevertheless if you have made up your mind you can do a search on http://bwnt.businessweek.com/ft_mbasearch/ for all those colleges which accepts your gmat score. Last but not the least playing around with your work exp is not the easiest thing and adcom catch such cases very easily. Thanks kk_del, aaragorn,Catalina. Try it out Catalina ...but dont overdo , just that amount of yoga and light stretching exercises that will keep you mentally alert, rejuvenated and build your physical stamina to sit continuously for 4 hours.Most imp it should be done only in Morning. Good Luck

Thanks Catalina ...LIGHT yoga did helped to lower the stress level and to build the physical and mental stamina needed for 4 hrs of test.The fresh morning air did wonder to one's mental health.Earlier i used to go for morning jogging but it leaves me with lethargy and i used to feel sleepy all the day till i take a nap of 30 mins or so.Then i switched to light yoga and did some light stretching exercises everyday and the results were good and by doing so i used to feel rejuvenated for the whole day and i used to feel light even after 4 hrs of test. thanks aaragorn ....i am planning to apply for fall 07, aiming for first deadline and till now i hv shortlisted michigan,chicago,duke,tuck,lbs
