N Y WAYS my project at Dr.Reddys kept me away frm all the action happenin here n i feel really good to be back. Hello EVERYONE, Well, of my three recommenders one is in U.S tryin to get into UNIV OF CINN and other is in Univ of Louisville(as post doc).Both were at some time my H.O.D's.Now in the app forum,beside the name of the recommenders is a coloumn by the name "INSTITUTE".Can anyone plz tell me what I shud be writin in that INSTITUTE coloumn for these ppl.

Hello everyone, Many programs do make a mention about the telephonic interview for international students .Iam really interested to know about the type of questions they ask in this interview and the specific aspects they concentrate on.Hope we have some ppl here who have already taken it. Hope we have some real good inputs:) :)

Hello sree, U need to mention the program to which u intend to apply (M.S,Integrated PhD) along with your branch of interest so that ppl here can express their views bout u r chances.

Hello T.M. iam sorry for the title but did any one of you see such rules before.They are the rules of Washington univ.I want to know it from you if they really mean what they say.Any washington univ applicants out there? "DBBS conducts interviews by invitation only after the completed application and materials have been submitted, received and evaluated. Interviews are not conducted prior to submission and evaluation of an application. All applicants must travel to St. Louis for a personal interview. If an applicant is not available to travel to St. Louis for an interview during mid-January to mid-March, their application will not be considered. Most travel costs within the US will be paid by DBBS. Telephone interviews are not conducted. Foreign applicants are responsible for travel expenses from their host county to the United States. DBBS will reimburse for round trip expenses incurred from the city of US entry to St. Louis. On the application, foreign applicants will be asked to provide traveling to the United States." Plz comment on this .................

Hello Yeah what u think is exactly right.You cannot just retake the AWA part alone.If u think that its really low and definitely gonna affect your chances of admission(particularly if u r goin for literature n stuff.For Engg low score is not going hamper u r admn chances to a great extent)then i advice u better go for a retake.Of course the entire test

hey rahul, Thats o.k.Well there will be fierce competetion for the interdisciplinary sciences from the best in the world.SAyin this iam not tellin u not to go for them but all i advice u is to have some pure sciences as back up so that u dont waste one year.All the best

hello Holeinone, It could had been discrimination if we could have had announced that "THE PLACE IS ONLY FOR BIO GUYS N GALS AND TRESSPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED".We never said such a thing.The reason for doin that is the idea of having all the bio ppl toeghter so that we can be of better use to each other.Anyways pharmacy ppl have a spl area for them.We only have a special thread and i guess its a dicriminatio or whatever of a lesser magnitude.Cmon man ours is the next big thing and we definitely need the special thread.Go on and use it and contribute to it to the best of your capabilities.:)
