  1. Agree with E. St1 : Distance between house and gas station could be anything. Insuff. St2 : Gas station is 8 miles away from the house. Insuff. Combine. Distance between house and gas station is 8 miles. If the guy does not go to the gas station the distance is reduced by 4 miles. house ---> 8 miles ---> gas station ---> x miles ---> store. Total = x+8. house ---> y miles ---> store. Now, y = x+8-4 = x+4 (we dont know x.. right?). Answer : E
  2. Yes! "predicts..will" is just right :)

  5. To me it looks like a matter of "that vs which". A : is probably right. "which" -> non-essential information in the sentence. D : Major error : "that" is restrictive (essential information in the sentence). "which" would have been far better. This has been discussed earlier .. older threads.
  6. "more numerous" -> redundancy! Good catch YODA! :)
  7. Is this tommorow? Just curious. Sorry for the spellings "comparison". :)

  9. My guess.. E? I really think that the lasr line is more or less an assumption the author makes. (I know assumptions are not stated in an argument)
  10. Opt A. The accountant (almost solely) relies on the comparison drawn on sales figures for both the years. To weaken this we can show that sales figures for both the years are different, (-> if menus have changed over an year.. things are different.. and you have the answer) and hence the comparison does not stand legit.
