----- I would recommend the APHA book its clear and concise and of course for any exam you will need to memorise some concepts. I have used Morris cody and did not like it but that is my opinion. I revised APHA 3 times did over 3000 practice questions and calculations from Manan shroff book and I passed! Pick a book be consistent and practice! Good luck.

Here is what I think: 1. Recurrent Otitis Media treatment is high dose amoxil or amoxil-clavulnate dosed at 80-90 mg/kg/d for 10 days. There is no prophylaxis recommended. 2. I would suspect that tests would include a visual inspection - because doesn't Liposyn II have lipid content , so it would be cloudy right? I don't much more than that. 3. so there are 200u in 500mL and if you use a U-500 = 500 U/ mL then using ratios the amount you need is : 0.4 mL of the U-500 insulin. I hope that helps.

Hello All, I finished taking the NAPLEX yesterday. I am really disappointed with how I felt after taking it. I think I failed, I had studied all of APHA and I think I still failed. Hi Everyone, I have been away from the forum for a while and just began studying for NAPLEX using the APHA book. I have a few questions for those who are studying and those who may have already passed the exam. 1. How important is it to know all the pharmacokinetics stuff? Should I memorize all the formulas? 2. what is a good calculations textbook? I bought Manan Shroff calculations book is that sufficient? 3. What about Biotech drugs - Should I:rolleyes: memorise all those brands--- aaahhh I don't think I can! Please help....thanks
