  1. sandy22, I'm sorry I did not understand your question clearly, but, yes, Goldust is correct !
  2. Nimz, Usually, you might have to take the "travel mediclaim" policy for the period till your course begins. Most universities cover your health insurance as a part of their fee structure (so you are insured when you pay your fees), unless mentioned specifically.
  3. sandy22, Are you trying to send the LOR's separately or along with the rest of the package? If at all you need an address, I would believe it should be on the outside of the envelope, unless the school has a format. Whatever is the situation, I would recommend you contact your school's admissions' coordinator for the best answer.
  4. Tamsel, A lot of people say the school reputation hardly matters, but I strongly believe otherwise. Given, the current economy, the Bridgeport offer looks really lucrative, but if I were you I'd take up UIC. Unless of course, the Bridgeport curriculum is exactly what you're looking for !
  5. Hello people !!! long time !!! How's everyone doing ??
  6. I think the answer should be A as it is a sufficient condition to find the answer. However in case of x > -1; consider x=2, in that case, x^2/ |x| > 1. But if x = -1/2, it is the opposite.
  7. stacypringal, Though I pay tuition for classroom education, I've been following a "distance learning" format, learning through videos from home and I can very well say I've been managing pretty decently:). It all depends upon the individual !
  8. cool_cat, Seriously, as the others have mentioned, a more valid post would have been if you had done some research with the universities (which I hope you have done by now) and then requested for a evaluation of that list since you are the best evaluator of your complete profile!
  9. Mervin, Frankly, I don't think what you did in your undergrad is going to affect the entry process too much. From my personal experience, the only think I feel counted towards my admission was my undergrad score which was lesser than your score ! Also, as you have more than a year's work experience, that would be a more valid source of evaluation. About the prerequiste requirement, its more of a formality issue. I'm sure you must've done quite a few common courses with the CS people. Quite a few of my friends have successfully changed their discipline in a similar way. In fact you can account for your work experience to have created an interest in the field of networking or something of that sort ! All the best anyways !
  10. Mervin2008, You should understand that very application is not treated the same way. From what I see, your profile is really good. Of course your work experience will count, in fact, if your applying to a CS/EE program (which I assume you are) then it is a great plus !! Personally, I feel you are being modest in not considering more top schools in your list !
  11. All the best for your quals ka !! ace it !!
  12. I personally like X-box 360...haven't really tried out PS though !!
  13. Hey snowy and samy !!! long time !! How you guys been doing ?? @samy .... hows canada treating you buddy ? @ snowy... you on vacation here or some project ??
