  1. I also agree that E is the best choice..
  2. Agree with should for Q1. However for question 2, I think answer should be D. Toipc here is about oxygen and not water. So we have to suggest some alternative explanation which shows that Oxygen is not derived from Water but from some other source.
  3. Suggests that is the right usage....
  4. I am sorry, it is not tense error, but this construction is changing the meaning of the sentence..I think usage of will be is wrong. This sentence is saying that person X believes that company Y will be certain to do something in future. Many financial experts believe that policy makers at the Federal Reserve will be almost certain to leave interest rates unchanged for the foreseeable future In choice E,.. Financial experts .. is ...(should be "are" here)...So again I was wrong. it is subject verb agreement error and not the tense error...
  5. Risk of is the right idiom. Vote for B. Good Luck guys.. My exam is on 13th July, so I still have 3 weeks to prepare.
  6. it is not true that "they' can be used only for living beings. You can go to below mentioned link to know about the human and non-human antecedent. http://www.fortunecity.com/bally/durrus/153/gramch18.html
  7. IMO D. I rejected C because of usage of Have been..(past perfect)
  8. "Shud" can you please elaborate more..Still I am not convinced...
  9. Difficult question... Amit, Even B seems wrong. There is no mention of Number of brands. Only thing mentioned in the passage is share of cost and popularity of microwave popcorn. What is the source of this question?
  10. It has been said that "nobody who has measels is fine", which means - Those who have measeles are definitely not fine. - Those who do not have measels can be fine or can not be fine. If Ellen's statement is right then Lois's statement is wrong. If Ellen's statement is wrong then Lois's statement can be right or wrong. So, If we combine the above 2 observations then we will come to conclusion that either both are wrong OR Only Ellen is right, which infact means "It is possible that both Ellen and Lois are mistaken about Shirley's children"
  11. I think it should be D. A & B are clearly out. Out of C,D & E , D seems to be best. Like means "similar to" and Such as is used for giving examples. Here We are saying that fish needs definite environmental needs, similar to one specific lake's temperature If I say "Fish needs definite environmental needs, for example one specific lake's temperature", then it will sound awkward. Please correct me if I am wrong.
