As you say that you are not getting good enough in verbal means you have to focus in verbal & do more practice on it. And before giving exam keep in mind that you should take proper sleep & take balanced diet so that you feel refresh & give the exam tension free.

You stuck with your Average of 3.5 . Well this is good AW but to get a best college for study you should have to score much better then your current score. Try to study much hard as the competition is increasing day by day, take online test & score high so that in the end you did not regret of getting just passing marks in GRE. For TOEFL dates are starting from 12th October after 23 September. Why you choose 21st October? I think you should select some closer date. So that you may know your result sooner & select the appropriate University according to your results. By the way all the best with your exams.

I think electrical engineering is a vast subject in itself.But still you want to do major in other subject the my choice would be electronics & Communication.There has been an exponential growth in the field of electronics and there is a huge scope of jobs in it.
