  4. we have two independent equations so we can solve them simultaneously. look out the signs!!! the answer is C, although E is tempting at first glance.

Congratulations and best of luck with your application. it's a great score that I target at! but let me ask you a question. how did you find the prob. and perm. questions on the actual exam? were they the toughest part of the quant section or just standard questions? and where did you encounter them, in the middle of the test, or through the end? thanks in advance

  16. I agree with boliver. in [tooltip=Official Guide]OG[/tooltip], I saw a few questions in which consider takes no suffixes. it's a rule which should be known by heart

    OA of the 1st Q is wrong I think. I've found the same result as dsk02 did (x/3 hrs).
  23. 972pi = 4/3pi(r^3) then r^3 = 729 Right? find the factors of 729 dividing it by 3. 729 = 3^6 if r^3 = 3^6, then r=9 A=4pi(r^2)=4pi(9^2)=324pi D is the answer.
