  2. I understand this is inconsistent with the aforesaid advice, where students with ~3.6 GPA get RA position offers. While that is true in many cases, the importance of GPA shouldn't be wholly overlooked.

  8. Thank you so muchI got contacted via email to check the website for an admission decision. The acceptance letter said that a funding offer may come separately, so I am wondering whether it's appropriate to contact the department, or just wait.
