and my 5th reject... univ - Rensselaer... term - fall 05 appld to -- ms /phd ee how do i know -- snail dated 17 feb reason-- the usual.. and to think....i had to send those blokes at rpi attested originals of my degree certificate....which they asked for after i sent them all my transcipts ....more $$$ down the drain... looks like i wont be making it this year.... cya all on tm next year in case i make enuff money to recoup all my loses..!!

hey gforce...take it easy buddy... like bnm said, i know of some ppl with worse profiles than urs who got into cmu...but they were all ms....the phd prog is tougher...some1 told me thier strategy is to hold notoriously tough phd quals so's only the very good make it after the ms.. and looks like i too can kiss cmu good bye now.... and dont worry abt ucb either dude.....as far as i could see from their website, the only indians who made it were iitians ( and toppers at that)...so not having the tag mite have hurt u dude....its thier loss...stay on course..!!
