  1. January: 0 February: 0 pending: 2 useful post:)
  2. Congratulations. Excellent score:) . About your concern, I wouldn't retake the test if I were you. If you have a strong background in your field, I don't think you will be left out. Good luck in your admission process.

hi! It will be worth taking PP1 and PP2 though you don't have plenty of time. PP can be helpful to get accostumed with the actual test conditions. Good luck:) .
  5. Nice score. The other number of your range should be 280 ((27+27+30)/3*10). Good luck.

  7. 1) I CANNOT assure it. But it is consistent with what I have read from other people in this forum and with my experience during the test (and PP's). 2)Not necessarily the first 14. I failed 2 or 3 of the first 14.
  8. Hi! I scored 560 in Verbal section but I didn't run out of time, so it wasn't necessary to guess. When you fail the first questions, that situation prevents you from facing the harder ones which give you more points when answered correctly. When I took PP1, I got wrong 6 of the 10 first questions and although I answered correctly the remaining ones, I only scored 400.
  9. Congrats Nadia, nice score. In addition to nadia's comments about guessing, I have to say that it is better to guess at the end of the section. Failing questions at the beginning of a section is what ruines the score the most. I took GRE on November 23rd. and also got time consuming questions. Because of it, I ran out of time and had to guess the last 8 questions without reading them (But I was very careful with the first 14 questions). My Q score was 710
  10. I also took GRE on Nov. 23rd. I haven't received my score report either. I will have to complete the applications without knowing the scores...

  13. Q1: only barely= he had just the necessary amount of money to pay for the bicycle (D) Q2: If we work on nothing else= only if we only work on the project (A) Q3: I just got luck this time=I almost never get such high grades (D)
  14. yes, Lucia Gomez is one person (Lucia is the name and Gomez the last name). No doubt at all
  15. :) Hi! I would like to add something to rehoot's suggestions: When guessing, try to do that at the second part of the section. Failing many questions at the beginning of a section is what ruines the score the most. So, having too little time to make significant improvements, I would say that it might be a good idea to work more carefully at the beginning: obviously, If you have no idea about the answer or the way to attack a problem, just guess without wasting time. Good luck.
