  1. I was gonna go for D also like piyush did. What's wrong with D? The word "commonly"
  2. I'll have to go with B due to parallelism. "Originated...perpetuated". Also "that" is necessary after "language variations".
  3. I think it is A too because in C, "for helping to find" is not the correct usage.
  4. B since choice B uses the correct idiom: such...as...
  5. I'll go for B too. "Prepared for publishing by" is not the correct usage. Usually you prepare something for publication.

One more E. "Decided to" is the correct idiom.
  7. I go for D for the same reason as seenapanalli. Eventhough "impervious to" is the correct idiom but no subject in the choice rules it out.
  8. Thanks for the Probability document and the link. They've been really helpful
  9. Seems like you're pretty good with the quantitative section. I would suggest focus on your weaknesses in the verbal part and take the test in a month or so. You'll definitely make it. Practice some more verbal from princeton and the questions that are posted on the forum. That should help.
  10. Thanks for the website. It does help you relax.
  11. I seriously think that ETS's reports needs to be more descriptive like the ones in Kaplan's or Princeton. Because coming out of the test, there is no way of knowing what went wrong where. Even i felt like contacting someone at ETS because there is no way of knowing about your mistakes from that vagues report.
  12. Even i noticed that taking the same tests, your score will definitely will be higher than the old one. Because i've tried taking same tests and most of the times i remembered the answers to the questions eventhough all the questions might not be same. So i stopped doing and that and practiced different tests to analyze my actual score.
  13. You might be right stormgal. I did get permutation/probability questions probably between #2-#6. I think i didn't get them right and after that all the questions i got were way too easy. Just doesn't make sense. Good Luck this Friday! Hope you make it this time.
  14. I have to agree with you mkris. I think the trick is to get the first 10-12 questions right. Because i spend decent time on all the questions and was left with 3 minutes to spare at the end. Obviously, i don't think i spent enough time on first couple questions. All the questions wording sounded very easy but i'm sure there was some trick that i didn't catch.
