To thrive with attainment in this expeditiously changing world, one need to be determined for outreaching the insignia of victory. Though our future legacy is under dominance of our being self-restraint, but at the same time it is paved by the necessity of the world. I personally adhere to the fact that, visualizing the alluring success spectrum is conditioned on casting knowledge, experience, motivation and dedication. What sets me apart from many others is passion to explore the new scientific dimensions and keep on thriving for the new. I have a strong obsession to work and enrich my skills in modern day technologies, like Geological Surveys, Geographical Information System (GIS), Petroleum, Mining last but not the least Geological engineering in general. For this I have acquainted myself with modern design methodologies and theoretical concepts by attaining sufficient knowledge and field works. The world is at a verge of dramatic change in terms of future technologies specifically in terms of earth, environment, geology and sustainable green solutions. So it’s the core obli- gation on geologists to provide the legible dynamic solutions. My BS final year project was ”Structrual Mapping of Besham Area, Northwest Pakistan” in which we used surveying, mapping and other technical aspects to formulate the problem and provided the solution which was accepted in academia. If interested, a detailed description on this can be provided through my thesis. Please feel free to contact me for further queries, if any.

Hello everyone, are there any graduate schools around the world whose PhD Finance research areas include petroleum finance(or finance research on the energy sector) and Islamice banking/finance? The latter is a new area in Finance, and serves as viable source of finance in modern finance. I therefore have strong research interest in energy finance and Islamic finance. Will anyone help me in this regard? Thanks.

Hey guys. So there's a class offered at my school next semester. I don't really know what to make of it. It's called Modern Geometry (prereqs being Multi and LA). I'm not exactly sure what this means, and most importantly whether it has application to econ. Last semester I took DE in the hopes it would apply to econ but we ended up doing a lot of physics-related material. Here is the description given on our website: Geometry of surfaces in 3-dimensional space, including lengths, areas, angles, curvature, and topology. Classification of Euclidean isometries. Classification of compact surfaces having constant Gaussian curvature. What drew me was the mention of 'topology.' My school does not have a topology class so this may be my only chance for that, but it seems like it may just be touched on. What do y'all think - will this class apply to econ?
