what was your approach to studying for quant?

Thanks to all the people out there who have contributed on my next dday. However, i got my official score report today nothing changed really just the fact that i got 4.5 in AWA which surprised me simply because i did not really do much about this. Any suggetions for quant?

Finally, i had my day with the test and what i got is really a reflection of my prep. because i belive my prep was not organised and this landed me here. specifically due to the quantum of materials i was trying to go over before the test. Lesson 1: There is alot of materials on the net about the exam but i think for starters its best to make your pick and focus on getting the best out of the ones you choose. Lesson 2: As stated in one above there is a lot of books on gmat but in my opinion after a deep thought all you need is ; OG 10&11 and OG review Manhattan SC Fainally, Do alot of practise with the GMAT prep as its exactly what you see on the exam. For me i have picked another date in 40days time to re-appear for the test but this time am not leaving any thing to chance. To the house all i ask is what do i need for CR and RC. thank you amd watch out for my rebound!

Took gmatprep 1 today with 10days to d day scored 480 as above some help me whats is the way to 650 in 10days.

congrats! how did you prepare for number properties,AP&GP, probability, combination etc. I mean what materials did you use?

me think this may not be available as the OG 11th Edition is actually categorised in that other by GMAC check it out am sure you can confirm this. regards.

My test date is just 2days away but my prep is not organised and as such wanted to reschedule but i messed up trying to do so as didnt have a credit card ... Now my worry is if i take the test and get a bad score wont this affect my apps later when i get my dream score as the name suggest. So is it my best score that counts regardless of what i got initially. Please i need you guys out there to help me out.

cosmo, can u tell those of us who are taking the test soon how you did it. With particular reference to your prep.

you know what i think don`t take another test, relax your mind and focus on what you want to get on the test. if you get tensed u are likely not going to get the best. I WISH YOU ALL THE BEST

Hi All, based on the foregoing discuss on the above subject, has any one done the sets before? if yes what was the level of similarity/difficulty to the real GMAT. Thou i kind of think that the whole essence of through preparation is not only to learn new ways/shortcuts but also to boost one`s confidence on the real G. I need all who have done this practice test set to respond to this with particular refrence to the main man himself CTG. As per purchase how do i get it am based in Africa.
