  1. I will not aim entirely for schools ranked 40-50. You can divide your proposective schools; apply to 2-3 schools ranked 20-30, 2-3 for 30-50. Even one odd school from 15-20 if you can get strong LORs.
  2. For top schools it may eb a problem as they are competitive
  3. You research profile is strong but undergard percentage will make admission difficult in a top school especially for funding but you must try. You have a strong chance of getting into a school ranked 10-20. Good luck
  4. You have a decent GPA but I think your verbal score will hurt your chances for top schools. Good luck
  5. I am surprised but I suggest that you concentrate on the research expereince/publications side of your profile. Next time you apply, divide your schools into three categories w.r.t admission chances ambitious(2-3 from your current list), almost certain and safe. Do not lose hope and best of luck
  6. You have a decent chance. You list has top ranking schools which are competetive. It is always a good strategy to have a couple of decent 'safety' schools where admission chances are high. Depending upon your field of study you can pick three schools from your list above and three or four safety schools. Good luck
  7. I think you have a very good chance for admission. However, getting a publication would make it almost certain. Good luck
  8. Try College admissions forum of this websiteGood luck
  9. Your publications were the key. Congrats
  10. The most likely admit is Essex as UK universities do not require GRE. CMU, GWU, JHU unfortunately look unlikely mainly due to the GRE score.
  11. Concentarte on your grades and you will have retake the GRE
  12. LSE is a great admit but I recommend strongly that you try for a scholarship/funding. Living in London is expensive as it is borrowing from a bank is not the way to go
  13. Great score Well done and good luck for the admissions process.
  14. Hi, I agree with sniper, you need to convey to the B-schools that how MBA benefits you in acheving your future ambitions. I recommend that you apply to 5-6 schools. Alongwith Oxford, London Business School(LBS) is also a very good option. You have a very good profile just need to concentrate on your essays. Good luck.
  15. Hi, The transcript is the breakdown of all the courses that you have taken with the grades acheived. While degree document is a certificate from your university in your name that you have been awarded the said qualification in this year. You should contact the university from where you graduated, other institutes may ask for it as well later or when you register .
  16. For MSc admission in UK three year degree will be sufficient. 2.1 is upper second class honours atleast 65% in your undergraduate degree. Since you are targetting very good schools just a undergrad degree will not suffice. If grading system at your university is GPA then 3.0/4.0 is usually required. As far as LORs are concerned they must ideally be written by professors who taught you courses relavent to the target program. I Hope this helps, good luck:tup:
  17. I think the site is not working these days try the bdcube link
  18. First of all get good LORs and write a decent SOP. You have a decent profile so you do stand a chance in a top 20 school. I recommend that you get hold of US News or anyother credible school rankings in your area. Apply to 2-3 top 20 schools (atleast one in top 10), 2-3 schools ranked 20-40 and 1-2 safety schools. If you can take care of LORs and SOP there is a good chance you will get into a top 20 school.Good luck
  19. Hi, I think you have decent profile. From your list I would keep 4,6,7,9,10,12 and in addition I would recommend taking a chance with couple of schools higher in ranking like UCLA, UIUC or UT Austin etc. You have a good chance of funding from the schools in your list. Excellent LORs and SOP will definitely help Good luck
  20. Hi Are you targetting MS or PhD plus do you have any work expereince and from where did you graduate?
