I agree with the saturation. I got my internship letter for 1200 hrs from IDFPR (ILLINIOS Department of Financial and Professional Regulation) . I have approached CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, some independent pharmacy and even a hospital near Chicago area, but they are not ready to take any interns even as volunteers. Any advice in this situation will be appreciated.

I sent my pharmacy internship application to IDFPR almost a month ago, How long does it take to approve the Internship with IDFPR ?? Is there some where I can check the status.

Have you taken prenaplex it is helpful. Practise math and statistics. Naplex test are from all the thearapeutic area, know MOA, side effects, drug interactions, storage, patient counceling for important drugs in each class. All the best

Yes we have to consider that we get K from K phosphate and K chloride. So first calculate the ml of K phosphate required that will supply 40 mMol of phosphate. Normally the K phosphate that is supplied for TPN dilution are concentrated and in each ml we get ' 3 mMol of phosphate and 4.4 mEq of K '. (You can search this in google K phosphate for TPN http://prodruginfo.com/formulary/Forms/BSR-MR-TPN-001%201-07.pdf) Also the K chloride for inj used in TPN preparations, Each ml contains 2mEq of K chloride USP. I think we need to memorize the above information and use it for solving this problem. Ans 13.3 ml of k phophate will supply 40 mMol of phosphate. we know that 1ml of k Phophate will supply 4.4 mEq of K because that is how it is supplied by the manufacturer. Therefore 13.3 ml should give us 58.52 mEq of K from K phosphate. The remaining phosphate we can get from K chloride which is 31.48 mEq. We get 2mEq of k chloride from each ml, therefore we need 15.74ml of K chloride to supply 31.48 mEq of K. In conclusion we need 13.3ml of K phosphate and 15.74ml of K chloride. Please correct me if I am wrong. There is a similar question in rxprep book.

Please need some advice on writing naplex before internship for tx state, and no experience working in the pharmacy. I am having a hard time remembering the brand names and dosage forms.

Yes I got the results for the test I took on 24thSep2011, I got the required scores I needed.

Got the results from toefl-ibt, got the required scores for fpgee, thank God. I needed 24 in writing and last time I had got 22. In my preparation I tried to write all 185 essay topic, this was definitely helpfull on the day of exam.

You have a time limit of 3 months to request a rescoring on either the writing or speaking section of toefl-ibt. You could mail or fax the request for rescoring form, which can be printed from the ets website. The cost for rescoring is 60$ for each section. All this information is available from their website.
