Hi I am planning to write North Carolina MPJE next month. Can someone guide regarding the preparation and practice for the same? I have started to read laws and rules from the NCBOP website , is there any special guide and practice test for easy revision. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Dyad

Do anyone know , what are the requirements to apply for Pharmacist Licensure Transfer by endorsement from other state to Illinois? I tried to contact the I board by email....but they never explain properly but just give links ....i am not clear if i can apply so early for transfer , as i have been a Pharmacist since a couple of months only....

Hi Usha ...i dont know in which state you are ...but as far as i know Pharma companies are more near NJ and NY....so jobs in QC / QA/ R&D are preferable whichyou can get through reference or by calling the HR department in those companies....try and collect companies call them and apply.... ATB

Not needed....but every state varies....so cal your state board and ask if you work as volunteer do you have to run pay checks....if they say no...then h1 is not needed....hope that helps....

Hi Friends Do anybody have material for PA MPJE law ? I transferred my NAPLEX score already. As i still have to submit my intern hours next month, i want to prepare for MPJE in the meantime. I have Reiss federal law book but dont have PA Board law book. Any help would be great Thanks

hi i would suggest you to submit the hours in a letter to IL Board...they will let you know whatever additional documents they need.

I want to transfer NAPLEX score and my 1500 hours to IL Board and write MPJE....MY question is , if all my intern hours will be transferred and apart from MPJE are there any other exams (like compounding exam ) to get Pharmacist license in IL. For getting the Pharmacy Technician license which i think is necessary to work as Pharmacist, do we have to write ExCPT ? I would really appreciate your help.

Nishil, sorry to say that , in this economy of US , no retail chains are even considering foreign pharmacist interns. Now there are a few to null jobs for foreign Pharmacist Interns...infact after becoming Pharmacist, the chances to get a job are dull. But HOPE will find its way.

hi lanaraja yes you are right....for dextrose it is 3.4 k.cal/gm and for carbohydrates it is 4 k.cal/gm....thanks for the correction.

Answer: carbohydrates = 3.4 k.cal/gm ; given 143gms protein = 4 k.cal/gm; given 37gms fat= 9k.cal/gm; find "x" gms total calories= carbohydrate calories+ protein calories + fat calories so, 1060 = 3.4* 143 + 4* 37 + 9 * x => 1060 = 486.2 + 148 + 9 * x => 1060- 634.2 = 9*x => 425.8 (fat calories )=9*x thus, x = 425.8/9 ===> 47.31gms of fat is present in 1 liter of enteral solution.. correct me... if any....

Hi Pharmacist2011 and other friends with the same query I recently got approval to write naplex from texas so telling you the steps of application process.... 1. You must have SSN 2. Fill application in Texas board of pharmacy website for NAPLEX and at the end pay the fees online (before submission of the form online it will ask you to pay the fees).. And also fill and submit NAPLEX application in NABP website... 3. Then you have to send TBSP all the required documents as mentioned in the below link .... Obtaining a Texas Pharmacist License 4. Then Texas board will send email confirmation of the receipt of form and documents and will send the Finger print form which you have to fill and send to the specified address in the form. 5. This whole procedure takes 1 month.... 6. The fingerprints will be directly sent to the Texas board.... 7. Finally within a week texas board will intimate the NAPLEX Board if you are eligible.... 8. And within a week pearson will email you the Test eligibility... You can contact TBSP only after 6 weeks about the status of your application....i can tell you that they are very good at there job and will submit your eligibility to NABP in approximatey 1&1/2 to 2 months... Hi Divine Thanks for the suggestion...so i have to give a second thought about my NAPLEX DATE. So, the stoklosa book isnt enough?...i felt that stoklosa is good for maths.... Many suggested that prontopass is good for revision....:hmm:
