Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone has taken the Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery certificate, where would be the best place to get this certificate from, and is it useful or does the job generally provide such courses for employees?... Thanks alot

I received my FPGEE certificate exactly after 5 weeks of the final review... my application went into final review on Dec.14, got my certificate on Jan.18... good luck

I'm wondering the same thing, has anyone applied and taken the course before? I just heard about this 2 days ago and really wondering if its worth it or not. and I also wonder how this degree would be treated in foreign countries. does anyone know anything about that?...

It takes around 5 weeks from the time your application goes into the final review process. (its after they receive your passing toefl results) good luck...I know waiting is really hard!

You don't need FPGEE or Naplex for masters, however for residency programs both are required (as you have to be a licensed pharmacist to do so) about transferring your pharmacy credit hours to dentistry. it is possible, but most likely they will transfer just few hours that they think is equivalent to their program, and i believe that would only apply to pre-dentistry. (like you would be able to get most of the pre-requisites with your pharmacy degree). there would still be a dentistry entry exam and around 4 yrs of dental school. (im not sure how long it is, but medicine is 4 yrs and i dont think dental is going to be more than that). Good luck

Hey I'm also a pharmacist and was thinking of applying to med. school, but medicine in here is very lengthy and hard, it take like 10 years to get the degree and rotations, fellowships (specialization) etc... Regarding your pharmacy degree i think it will be considered as premed as long as it has all the pre-request of med school ( i remember it was like 2 courses of biology, chemistry and physcis and math i think) which mostly you took during pharmacy. You will have to pass the mcat (entry exam for medicine), and most good universities require a high score. good luck
