  1. great score. And a good determiniation ! Have you decided which schools to apply to.
  2. hmmm missed this one too :(
  3. Is it C. From statement 1: We know that radius is less than slope. So the line can intercept the circle at two points, or may not intercept at all. From statement 2: We know the y intercept of the line is greater than the radius of the circle. Does not provide much information to determine whether the line intercepts the circle. However, using both statement 1 and 2 we can say that the line does not intercept the circle.
  4. Yeah you are right. Misplaced braces issue here. I used to not read the units just as you did, however, now that the actual test is over I don't miss any of the units. Strange isn't it ?
  5. :) the answer asks for value in feet. So E is still correct I think.
  6. Usage of 'none' depends on the conetext, however, none is, more often than not, assocaited with singular.
  7. E it is. Pick a numer n = 3 and plugin to each of the answer choices.
  8. For 1. I guess D must the be correct choice. The rest of the anser choices, A,B, and C has redudant construction - declining and down esentially mean the samethin. Of the remaining choices, only D has the correct idiomatic construction. For 3: I guess the correct response is D. Each of the other anwser choices has some errors.
  9. Thanks everyone. I am based out of Michigan, US. So definitley I'll be applying to Ross for evening MBA program. However, I am planning to apply to Dartmouth, Duke, and CMU for day program. I really wish to attend a strong general management school. Lets see how it goes. This forum has been really great. My special thanks to Grey, Twin, Lego, Thebullfighter, spiderman, arjmen and 800Bob. You guys are just amazing, and not to mention how much of help I have received from you guys. Nuthan you have been really kind to provide some of very good DS problems, which really has helped many DS-phobic people such as I - or is it me. Okay guys any of the GMAT aspirants feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
  10. pacski, great job ! By reading your posts, I feel that you have fairly decent chance at any of the top 10 schools. I would rather you concetrate on your essays.
  11. Thank you guys, I will upload my notes along with other material that I collected to prepare for GMAT. And most importantly, thanks Erin for putting up such a great forum.
  12. Definitely happy, will update soon.
  13. Answer should be TWo choice c: Only 2 and 4 satisifies the given condition. Plug in 2, 4 and other number, you will see that only 2 and 4 will solve the equation.
  14. Good job Grey. I was hoping to see a higher score than that, however, 760 is as good as a higher score. Can't wait to hear the details.

  16. IMO D: Which in A,B,C refers to population and hece ruled out. Between D and E, E does not follow the parallel construction.
  17. Is the average of X consecutive numbers odd? (1) The first number in the series is odd. (2) The sum of the numbers is odd.
  18. Yeah I think we need the duration to calcuate the interest earned.
  19. Assuming that 3^2 is actually 3^z the solution to this problem is 6.
