Even if you obtain your MA degree at Columbia, nobody can assure that you will receive better offer than Purdue. I recommend you go to Purdue now.

So true. Do you happen to know when the UVA deadline is? Is it midnight 15th? I have an another option and the school (American institution) asked me to answer until 14th 11:59 pm.

Thanks. This is very annoying and long process. I had an interview in March and checked somebody posted rejection on GC. I guess the one was on the waitlist. It's getting closer to April 15th but till now I haven't got back any notice after the interview. Very stressful and nervous.

I have been on waitlist since mid February and still it is my top choice. I wonder if there is anybody who has got off of the waitlist since mid Mar. Are they sending offers one by one? Otherwise, are they sending offers all together? Please share your info if anyone knows.

More specifically, I meant sending emails repeatedly. I emphasized that YOUR PROGRAM IS MY TOP CHOICE twice by sending emails but I guess there is no movement in the waitlist. I want to do EVERYTHING to get off waitlist but worry about bothering DGS.

For advice 4, Do you really think that much of actions(sending emails, visiting campus etc) are helpful? I want to do so but on the other hand, those can bother faculty members.

Are you the one who wrote on GC? I am on the WL of UVA and looking forward to get accepted to UVa. However, I have no idea how many applicants among the waitlisted received rejections. Do you happen to know how many applicants remain in WL?

Is there anyone who knows about waitlist of UVA? I heard that there are over 80 ppl on the wl and I don't understand why UVA holds so many applicants. Plus I would like to ask if there is anyone who got off WL. If there is someone, would you please say when you are informed? I am on the WL too and it drives me crazy. Finally, if someone plans to decline UVA offer, please do so as soon as possible. You can save my life! thanks
